They haven’t the words.
Posted December 22, 2009 by malachi3Categories: Uncategorized
They haven’t the words, and so it is true. If one were to visualize, or at least attempt; could he see God in the moment of mourning? Although to draw conclusions and paint a picture within ourselves as to what God may look like, this may be best left undone.
Well, I try at times to picture a grieving Father who has turned His back in sadness. Grieving at what has become of us. Self destruction, blood stained hands, evil speech and denying one another. It is said that everything is in the hands of God, everything but free will. What can we possibly say to account for our way of living.
Of all the sins in which one can take part, denial of God tops the list. Second and very tragic is that when we go before God at our moment of judgement, the question will be asked, “What have you to say about these.” These refer to the offenses that you have conducted against humanity.
We were not created as the beasts of the field, yet many humans live their lives as they were. Rather one is Jewish or Gentile… we all have the ability to act with kindness. I’m afraid for all of us. We must take a good hard look in the mirror and reflect.

Shalom.
There is a story of a king in our Jewish history. A king who was no less than despicable, and of which no words can describe. However there was change, a turn for the better. When at the edge of the sword, at the point of being put to death… he took his chances. Perhaps it was somewhat insincere at the beginning, but is willing if we are.
His life was spared, he was given the chance to live once again. Is this not what we all want?
When at the point of death, rather it be by the sword, or the loss of the soul… we must consider. Why is it that we wait for the moment of judgement to ask for forgiveness? For what good comes of it. Shouldn’t we analyze our every action, word and rationalization. We seem to go about living our lives in such a way that is destroying everyone and everything around us. This is being done both in the direct and indirect.
How are we to know the difference? After all the ways of man seem to slip into what we know as life. We assimilate constantly like water overtime changing the form of a rock. As we live our lives taking care of the everyday affairs, our awareness becomes depleted. Because of this, the very things that are less than satisfactory seep into our lives… like the coldness of winter through an open door. We don’t recognize it and before long, it is second nature.
A child first enters this world knowing nothing of his own, and so he grows with sight and hearing. Until the child is old enough like our father Abraham, he adapts to the ways of the family and culture that surrounds. Unless we take it upon ourselves to tear down the walls that keep out what is good, such as the Torah… we are doomed. The Jewish scriptures tell us that man does what seems to be pleasing and right. This does not mean that his ways are correct, but he walks in the ways that are pleasing and therefor he is rationalizing. This happens because we have lost our way.
The time has come, and why is this the time… because so many of us have failed to realize it untill now.

Shalom.
You would be correct in assuming the following article based on the above title. After nearly two thousand years, millions of deaths and forced conversions, the time is at hand to change course. Without a doubt there are many God fearing, God loving individuals that attend one form of church or another. However, they have been taught lies. Is this harsh? Yes. Does it need to be discussed? Also yes.
This fascination with the ‘blood of the lamb’, needing to be covered in the blood of the lamb, needing to confess that Jesus was born of God and that he is the son who saves man kind, is the furthest from the truth.
The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is against such practices. This way of thinking is an abomination. I am in no way out to hurt anyone, it is not my intention. The truth needs to be spoken and taken into careful consideration.
Genesis chapter 22 tells the story of father and son, Abraham a faithful man to God of many years, and his son Isaac willing to obey. The test is one of many for Abraham, but his love, devotion and trust is unlike any other. He does not question God. Early in the morning he arises, saddles his donkey and heads out for a place that God will show him. We do not know what his thoughts are, however Isaac questions his father about the sacrifice. Everything was in hand but the sacrifice. Abraham responds by saying, “HASHEM will provide.” Abraham arrives at the place God shows him, he sets up the altar, binds his son (Isaac at this time is a man of thirty-seven), removes his blade from its holder, and enters into the place of sacrificing Isaac. A voice is heard from above, “Abraham, Abraham, do not strike the boy nor do him no harm, for now I know that you fear God.”
Please note that the actual event is called the ‘binding of Isaac’, not the sacrifice of Isaac.
Over the years I have heard several times that the reason Isaac was not sacrificed was because he was not the perfect sacrifice, and to continue, the entire event was a foreshadow of Jesus. How is it possible that so many people, church leaders especially, not to forget all the religious schools across the globe, how is the truth of the event overlooked.
We must look beyond Abraham be tested with the ultimate, there is also the prohibition of human sacrifice. All to often, scripture is taken out of context and twisted into what fits ones theology.
You cannot give your life for me, nor can I do so for you. Each and everyone of us is responsible for our conduct, speech and righteous living. We can’t simply recite a few words and pass our responsibilities onto someone else for our lives.
The church also teaches that unless you confess with your lips that Jesus is the savior and that he was born of God to take the sins of the world, and those who believe in him shall not die but live. That statement contradicts everything God has spoken from the beginning.
The truth is we do not need an intermediary. It is untrue when jesus proclaims, “The only way to the Father is through me.” or in another place, “I am the way, the truth and the life.” Read through the book of Isaiah and see for yourself what God the Creator of all has to say. HASHEM alone is our redeemer, savior and provider. God Himself raises up and tears down, opens doors and closes others.
Ezekiel chapter eighteen is dedicated to this very subject. The father will not be punished for the sins of the son, nor the son will perish because of the fathers wickedness. However it does state, “If the wicked would turn from their wickedness, and turn towards Me, they shall live and not perish. If the righteous turn from right living and turn to being wicked, then they shall perish.”
Every Yom Kippur, Hebrew meaning Day of Atonement, we spend the day reading and praying. It is a day in which we pray for ourselves, our families and the land of Israel. Several times through our reading we come to a passage that reads, “Let the wicked turn from their wickedness, for I do not desire that they perish.”
Prior to the year 1000 there was a big push to convert our Jewish people, the reason being, church leaders thought that if they could possibly succeed in doing so, this would usher in the second coming of jesus. It did not happen. The very same thought was considered a thousand years later, that too did not happen. The Egyptians, Romans as well as hitlers’ Germany are well known for the death blow for our people. They however, were not the only ones. Throughout the ages they have been many pogroms against God’s people. Hangings, death by sword, fire and many other unspeakable things. Again the majority of this was done in the name of Jesus.
The question must be asked, if Jesus is the Messiah, and he fulfilled the many prophecies, why haven’t our Jewish people accepted him as such. Let us go further. Why have many people who were born to Catholic and Christian homes, denounce their belief in Christ. There are at the same time, Jews who have accepted Jesus as the Messiah. Of that group of Jews, many are educated in various areas of life. We can argue, but it would be of no use.
When asked, Christians would answer, “Jesus will fulfill the remaining prophecies in the second coming. No where in the Torah or Tanach does it read that such a thing will take place. How about that he first came as the son of Joseph and second coming will be as the son of King David. Again this is found no where in the Jewish scriptures. Something of this importance would have been made known to us.
Aha! That is why in the new testament it is written, “For the sake of the Gentiles the Jewish people were blinded.” As to say, “when the Gospel is made known throughout the world, the veil will be removed from our eyes, and then we will see.”
We must study for ourselves, not walk blindly into traffic. In the prophets it is written, “In those days the men of many nations will come and take hold of the cloak of a Jewish man and say, “Let us go with you, for you know where God can be found.”
The list goes on and on. The theology of a virgin birth stems from paganism. King David is told that kings shall come forth from him. God kept His word. All kings came through the blood line of his son Solomon.
While we have no temple today, we have returned to the way of the patriarchs. Actually it is a place we never left. What has God asked of us all along? Genesis chapter 17: God appeared before Abraham and said, “I am El Shaddai, walk rightly before Me.” We don’t need an earthly king, we have the Creator of all. He has reigned before all was created and He will reign long after.
It is written that we should not worry about what man can do us, but rather we should worry what God can do, and that is take our soul. What a place this would be if we would all take responsibility for ourselves. Words cannot convey the importance of the work that needs to be done.

Power of words.

Shalom.
Words when spoken, manifest. We see what we care to SEE. If you were to consider your speech, your thoughts of the heart, your WORDS to be something [greater] than words, but actual {WILL}, would you consider speech more carefully?
When we picture God, consider what we may know of God, contemplate what we have read of God, we often understand His Creation to be spoken Words. After all we read in the very first chapter of Genesis that God spoke and then there was light, the heavens and the earth.
There many great teachers of the past and the present, that speak on the very subject of Words. To imitate God, one must master the inner workings, one must master his or her speech.
To speak is very natural, it is our nature. Our eyes see, our ears hear. We run with our mouths, we are quick to react, respond, comment, we are quick to SPEAK. How many times a day, do you find yourself talking just because you can? Not because it is absolutely important that you do, but because it is such a natural thing to do?
The very things in which you see and hear, they all leave impressions on the heart of your Soul. Do you honestly feel that its a one way street? That it is only you who feels the crashing of the personal insults, directed gossip and slander? You are responsible for all that departs the gateways of your being. When we take a hammer to a wall we can see the destruction taking place, so why should we assume that spoken words are any different.
The study of Mussar [Jewish Ethics] touches on the soul trait of Roshen Hara [literary bad mouth].
Imagine the transformation of the world within you and the world around if you could one day, comprehend this teaching. This is something I pray for all of us.
Meditation is a great way and a step in the right direction, if you so desire to one day, take charge from within. Our evil inclination loves nothing better than to wittingly take us off the right course. We rationalize and so we are found guilty. Very often I’ve heard one person or another say, ‘I’m not gossiping, I’m sharing something personal.’ Gossip, slander or even truth, can and will take the lives of three people. The one speaking, he that is being spoken about, and lastly, the one sitting by willingly to hear.
Gossip columns, rather they are magazines, television, radio or public speaking, are nothing less then human slim. How is it that we have come so far with advancements of all sorts, but human nature continues to decline. Do you find yourself sitting attentively to any of the above? Do you stop what’s more important so that you can clearly hear what’s be spoken about another? If you even remotely said yes, you have some work to do.
Are you willing to go further, ascend higher? Read and then read again the ways of HASHEM. Contemplate His ways.
Jeremiah 9: 22 – 25 – Thus said HASHEM: Let not the wise man glorify himself with his wisdom, and let not the strong man glorify himself with his strength, let not the rich man glorify himself with his wealth. For only with this may one glorify himself – contemplating and knowing Me, for I am HASHEM Who does kindness, justice and righteousness in the land, for in these is My desire – the word of HASHEM.
Throughout scripture we read the spoken Word [Will] of HASHEM. Here is another scripture. – Isaiah 55: 8 – 11- For My thoughts are not your thoughts and your ways are not My ways – the word of HASHEM. As high as the heavens over the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. For just as the rain and snow descend from heaven and not return there, rather it waters the earth and causes it to produce and sprout, and gives seed to the sower and food to the eater, so shall be My word that emanates from My mouth, it will not return to Me unfulfilled unless it will have accomplished what I desired and brought success where I sent it.
Here we have the power of words. The power of Will. Prior to the coming of Abraham and Sarah, God searched the airwaves of mans thoughts and words. Abraham a faithful seed and Sarah the choice vine. The search was now over. Abram had the attention of the mighty El Shaddai. Why did he have the attention of God? Because he asked, he searched, he denounced the ways of his father and the society of others.
What will you do today?
Shalom

Shalom my friends,
To whom do you aspire?
To whom do you run?
He makes the winds blow and causes the rain to descend. He raises up those who are laid low. He desires the way of the holy. His eyes are on the land from the first day of the year until the very last. There is God and there is no other. Where can you hide, what place can you run? Is He not the Creator of all things? He sustains the orphans and the widows. He feeds the hungry, clothes the poor, gives drink to those are thirsty. He comforts those who are hurting. He escorts the dead. He endows the poor bride. He is faithful to those who sleep in the dust. He opens blind eyes.
We are to be a holy people. Yes there is free will. So to whom do you aspire.
Why are you still here?
Search your soul traits, for it was King David who said, ‘The greatness of HaShem is beyond investigation.’
Shalom and abundance
